چکیده
Abstract In this paper, phosphate rock has been utilized beyond its traditional role as a raw material for fertilizer production to new potential heterogeneous base catalyst biodiesel production. The was thermally modified through calcination at 900 °C 8 hrs. One factor time experimental design used vary the operating conditions of (30–150 min), temperature (40 °C–80 °C,) concentration (1–5 wt%), and methanol oil ratio (10–50 wt%). It established that optimum maximum yield 93 % using novel achieved reaction 90 min, 60 °C, 3wt% weight 30 wt%. synthesized compared with waste Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) determine efficiency conversion from catalyst. modification after also analysed spectroscopic technique confirm any changes in functional groups. Biodiesel’s chemical physical properties were measured based on American Society Testing Materials (ASTM) international standards biodiesel.

The waste shell was utilized as a bioresource of calcium oxide (CaO) in catalyzing a transesterification to produce biodiesel (methyl ester). The economic and environmen-friendly catalysts were prepared by a calcination method at 700-1,000°C for 4 h. The heterogeneous catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the B...
متن کاملBiodiesel Production from Palm Oil using Heterogeneous Base Catalyst
In this study, the transesterification of palm oil with methanol for biodiesel production was studied by using CaO–ZnO as a heterogeneous base catalyst prepared by incipient-wetness impregnation (IWI) and co-precipitation (CP) methods. The reaction parameters considered were molar ratio of methanol to oil, amount of catalyst, reaction temperature, and reaction time. The optimum conditions—15:1 ...
متن کاملTransesterification of Waste Cooking Oil for Biodiesel Production Using Modified Clinoptilolite Zeolite as a Heterogeneous Catalyst
Reduction of fossil fuels sources, increasing of pollution gases emission, and global warming effects increase the demand of renewable fuels. One of the main candidates of alternative fuels is biodiesel. Biodiesel limits greenhouse gas effects due to the closed CO2 cycle. Biodiesel has more biodegradability, lower combustion emissions such as CO, SOx, HC, PM and lower toxicity than petro diesel...
متن کاملBiodiesel production from soybean oil using ionic liquid as a catalyst in a microreactor
In the present study, Choline hydroxide (ChOH) as an ionic liquid catalyst was used for transesterification of soybean oil into biodiesel in a microchannel reactor. The effects of three variables i.e. reaction temperature, catalyst dosage and total flow rate on fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) content (wt. %) were optimized using Box–Behnken experimental design. In order to predict the FAME conte...

In this research, biodiesel was produced using chicken fat in the presence of calcium oxide nano-catalyst. To do so, the effect of various parameters like temperature, reaction time, catalyst amount and methanol to oil ratio was investigated on the biodiesel production. The results showed that the best conditions for biodiesel production were obtained such as the temperature of 65oC, methanol t...
